The first generation Toyota Urban Cruiser was an excellent introduction to affordable yet sizeable compact SUV ownership. It was one of the initial cars of the Toyota Suzuki alliance, so rest assured you had a good car on your hands. My colleague Sean Nurse had the Urban Cruiser on test, and you can read his thoughts here.

Verdict
The first-generation Urban Cruiser has held its value quite well, and in the instance of the Xi trim, value appreciated slightly from our findings. It's because vehicles like these are in constant demand, hence why they hold their value. Notably, the automatic variants have held their value slightly more than the manual variants. There's good value to be had here with the first-generation Urban Cruiser. Now that you know what pricing is like, more or less, if you're sold on a first-generation Urban Cruiser, you can search AutoTrader for the latest used and new offerings and even sell your car, too.
