These vehicles are built on the ungraded Pik up platform and feature a host of high-end fitments that elevate these tough-as-nails workhorses to comfortable overland explorers.

Step-off from a standstill is surprisingly perky, once the momentary hesitation upon initial throttle application is overcome. The latter tendency is due to a combination of gearbox and engine programming, and may be changed as updated control software becomes available.

What is the Mahindra Pik up Special Edition like inside?
For this range of special Pik Up models, Mahindra has upgraded the cloth seats to leather upholstery and has increased the infotainment system from a 7” to a larger HD 9” system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
Style
The upgraded Karoo range now features new decals as standard. The interior is finished with branded Karoo interior carpets. The exterior gets a nudge bar and load bin-mounted sports bar with Karoo detailing as well as a rubberised load bin and tonneau cover or roller shutter. All three special Karoo models will be fitted with a heavy-duty off-road suspension, off-road tyres, and hardened 4x4 rims, including an additional off-road rim for the spare wheel.
