The XUV500 is one of the products that helped establish the Mahindra marque within the local market, offering practicality and spaciousness at an affordable price tag. An updated version of the XUV500 was launched locally in 2018, here are the top 3 differences between the pre-facelift and current models.

Mahindra added a fresh infotainment system in the updated models. The colour touchscreen system features Bluetooth, USB and AUX functionality as well as a sound system by audio specialists Arkamys.
2. More power
The updated XUV500 features the same 2.2-litre turbodiesel motor and either a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox as its predecessor, however, it features a new turbocharger, upping the power to 103kW and torque to 330Nm.
