With the proliferation of Chinese workhorse machines available on our market, finding a good well priced machine can be tricky. JAC has made a name for themselves with their keenly priced equipment and quality vehicles, but which one is the cheapest?

There is no doubt that the South African SME market is in dire need of quality workhorse machinery. Many small businesses require a cheap hard-wearing vehicle that can stand up to the stresses of harsh work environments that don't cost a ton of money. In this segment, many companies are simply not prepared to pay a large chunk of money for a vehicle that is going to be pushed to its limits and are simply looking for something that can be considered disposable

The JAC range is by no means disposable but also does not cost an arm or a leg to buy are relatively cheap to maintain. We take a look at the JAC lineup available in SA and see which model is the cheapest to buy.

 

JAC T6 Double Cab

The T6 is the entry point to the double cab workhorse JAC. Although not completely devoid of luxury, costs are kept down by keeping the T6 honest.

Price: R 359 900

 

JAC T8 Double Cab

With a higher level of fitment and luxury features, the T8 is the one to have although it is the most expensive.

JAC X200 Single Cab Workhorse

The X200 is a workhorse in its truest form, you won't think twice about loading it up and scratches and dents will go unnoticed for the most part while visiting site.

Price: R 302 400

 

 

Verdict

As you can see the cheapest JAC you can buy is the X200 chassis cab workhorse.  This is ideally suited to small businesses and blue collared companies and is not really meant for use as a passenger vehicle but will get your delivery to where it needs to go without a hiccup.
