Petrol and diesel November 2026: Another fuel price increase in South Africa
South African motorists are facing another fuel price increase in November 2026, but it is likely to be far smaller than initially feared. At the start of October, the Central Energy Fund (CEF) warned of petrol increases of about R4.57 per litre and diesel increases of up to R2.91 per litre. Those estimates have fallen steadily since then, and the latest under-recoveries for both fuels are less than half that amount.
