Replace the power
If you have never heard of the FAW don't be too worried, the relatively unknown FAW V2 hatchback only managed a few local sales before the passenger car section of the brand was discontinued in South Africa (FAW is more well known for their trucks). There are a few of these V2's out there and if you happen to own one you will need to do maintenance to keep it on the road.

Replacing the battery is actually very straightforward, and we can show you how it's done.
You will need:
- Replacement battery of correct size and amperage
- 10mm socket or wrench
Let's get it done
1. Open the bonnet
2. Locate the battery
3. Remove the negative battery terminal
4. Remove the positive battery terminal
5. Remove the hold down bracket
6. Replace battery
7. Assemble in reverse order
