Light it up
The relatively unknown FAW V2 hatchback only managed a few local sales before the brand passenger car section of the brand was discontinued in South Africa. There are a few of them out there and if you happen to own one you will need to do maintenance to keep it on the road.
A simple task such as replacing a headlight bulb may seem daunting but is actually quite easy, and we can show you how it's done.
You will need:
- Replacement H9 bulbs
- 10mm socket + driver
- No.3 Phillips screwdriver
Let's get it done
1. Open the bonnet
2. Locate the retaining crews that hold the assembly in place
3. Remove the assembly
4. Remove the wiring plug
5. Remove the rubber dust cover
6. Remove the retaining clip
7. Replace the bulb
8. Reassemble in reverse order
