The Stelvio range comes fitted as standard with Alfa Romeo's Q4 all-wheel-drive system which not only improves the power delivery but also traction in wet weather driving. The models also feature ABS brakes, Traction Control and Stability Control to assist you in slippery situations. It is, however, up to you to change your wiper blades to improve overall visibility from within the vehicle.
Luckily this is not a difficult task and will take less than five minutes to complete. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to change the wiper blades on your Alfa Romeo Stelvio.
What do you need?
- Your car key.
- Replacement wiper blades obtainable at an Alfa Romeo service centre.
- A soft damp cloth.
- 5 minutes of your time.
Steps
Step 1. Park your car in a well let space and switch off the engine.
Step 2. Press the wiper stork upwards for no less than 30 seconds. This will position the wiper blades in a vertical position.
Step 3. Let us start on the driver side. Lift the wiper arm away from the windscreen.
Step 4. Locate the release button at the base of the wiper blade and proceed to press it while gently pulling the wiper blade away from the wiper arm.
Step 5. Align and insert the base connecter of the new wiper blade into the wiper arm and slide it in until you hear it click into place.
Step 6. Repeat step 3, 4 and 5 on the passenger side of the vehicle.
Step 7. With the soft damp cloth, wipe the windscreen surface to remove any impurities and grime before lower the blades down on to the windscreen.
Step 8. Move to the rear of the vehicle and lift the pivot cap at the base of the rear windscreen wiper.
Step 9. Lift the wiper blade from the rear screen and while holding the blade with both hands, pivot it away from the vehicle until it clicks out of position.
Step 10. You can now click into place the new blade and clean the rear windscreen with a soft damp cloth before lowering the blade down on to the glass.
Step 11. Switch on the vehicle and test the new windscreen wipers.
