Alfa connect
FCA caused quite a stir when they released the flashy C sports car range. The 4C and 8C were the epitome of Italian flair and design but the problems soon followed. The sports cars became famous for errors pertaining to electrical current, with the vehicle systems becoming problematic when the battery dropped below a certain threshold.

If you are the proud owner of a 4C and your car begins throwing errors, it would seem that the quickest and easiest fix is merely replacing the battery and it is actually rather easy to do, and we will show you how it's done.
You will need:
- Replacement battery of correct amperage and frame size
- 13mm wrench
- 13mm socket , extension and driver
Let's get it done
1. Open the rear engine cover hatch
2. Remove the plastic engine cover
3. Use the 13mm wrench to remove the positive battery terminal
4. Undo the negative battery terminal cam lock and remove
5. Use the 13mm socket to remove the nylon retaining strap
6. Replace battery
7. Reassemble in reverse order and test
Disconnecting the battery will result in a complete loss of any stored information in the onboard computer such as radio presets and trip settings, if you don't want to lose these, use a battery saver.
