The Alfa Romeo MiTo was first announced in 2009 and replaced the popular 147 models. It has seen a variety of updates made throughout its lifecycle and even a performance Quadrifoglio Verde derivative made available. The MiTo was the smallest offering in Alfa Romeo's range, however, if you want one now, you will have to consider a used vehicle.

One thing is for certain and that is that even by today's standards the little Italian hatchback remains stylish. However, since its initial launch, a few optional items have become available that will not only make your MiTo look like new but also assist you in your daily commute. Let us take a closer look at these items.
1. Alloy wheels
One of the quickest and easiest ways to instantly update the look of your car is to fit new wheels. Luckily for Alfa Romeo customers, the Italian marque offers unique wheel designs or iterations found on other newer models as optional accessories. Wheel sizes range from 16-inch to 19-inch and can be easily fitted and balanced by a local accredited service centre.
2. Front splitter
Although a new set of wheels will refresh the looks of your car, fitting a new front splitter will certainly set it apart from the rest. A completely newly designed front splitter is available for the Alfa Romeo MiTo. The design bolsters the sporty styling on the front and accentuates the famous V-shape grille. To ensure the correct fitment and maintain any part warranties that are still in place, it is recommended that the part be fitted by an official Alfa Romeo dealership or service centre.
3. Rear bumper
Similar to the front splitter, customers have the option of ordering and fitting a new rear bumper. This option is not available if your vehicle has sustained damage to the rear but also as an aesthetic upgrade. The bumper enhances the sporty characteristics with sharp edges and air ducts. Further bolstering this optional item is the included roof spoiler which extends up and outwards and improves downforce to the rear of the vehicle.
4. Park distance control
The next item might not provide any aesthetic improvements but will help you protect that new rear bumper you just fitted. Park distance control is a system which utilizes a series of sensors in the rear bumper to audibly warn the driver when they are close to objects not visible in the rearview- or side mirrors. While newer models come fitted with the system as standard equipment, earlier models might not retain it.
