The only hybrid Combine Harvester in the market developed for grains

The Valtra BC4800 is the only hybrid combine in the segment and offers high performance and low fuel consumption. It features the best L/ton ratio on the market. The Valtra hybrid Combine Harvester has been developed especially for the grain harvest. It also has another great advantage which is that it is able to work a higher number of hours than its competitors. This means increased productivity with one notable difference at the end of the season.

The Power plant

The Valtra BC4800 is powered by a 7.4-litre 6-cylinder AGCO POWER which ensures excellent fuel-efficiency, with less emissions and greater load capacity, besides presenting an excellent power-to-weight ratio. This harvester is perfectly suited to agricultural use and its technology ensures low fuel consumption. In addition to its efficiency, the low operating costs and excellent performance in various harvesting conditions the BC 4600 is a machine with highly advantageous capabilities.

It’s all about the load capacity

For the Valtra BC4800, the grain tank capacity is around 5500 liters with a discharge rate of 86 L/s. These figures are extremely well equalized for its category. Another special feature of the tank is that it features a grain tank level alarm that keeps the operator constantly informed of its capacity and the moment of discharge. The entire discharge system is controlled from the cab using the multifunction lever. With the push of a button, the operator triggers the tube placement to begin the discharge process. There is even an additional light that is also included which helps illuminate the tube. This improves visibility in dark working conditions.

Improved comfort

The Valtra BC4800 has been engineered to offer the operator increased levels of comfort and ease of operation. The cabin is especially designed to reduce daily fatigue and thus increase productivity.Engineers have made the operator’s seat multi-adjustable and it is positioned for maximum visibility. Additionally, the operational controls are attached to the seat and include a multifunction lever. This design ensures that all of the controls are at the operators fingertips for ease of use. Other nicietis include features such as an adjustable seat with suspension, air-conditioning, adjustable steering column, eight points of lights and sound insulation to name a few.

The Technology

One of the advanced features offered by the Valtra Combine Harvester is a system called Fieldstar II. Fieldstar II is a system of precision agriculture which allows the operator to control important information regarding the combine harvester and the harvest. It is possible to customize the screen to show the desired work and control fields, such as productivity, grain moisture, capacity of the combine harvester. The information collected from each harvest allows for the identification of bottlenecks as well as any inefficiencies so that operators can assess efficiency to maximize productivity.
