This tractor will handle any given task with maximum performance, efficiency and reliability. Here are four things that you need to know.

1. Power

The Case IH Optum AFS 300 Series is powered by a 6.7 liter, 4-valve engine with Common Rail high-pressure fuel injection. A wastegate turbocharger delivers performance, torque, fuel efficiency and reliability between 186kW  and 223kW. The 300 Series benefits from an innovative power management system that provides an extra power boost when transporting heavy loads or moving at higher speeds. All engines can generate up to an amazing 40% torque rise. With this large reserve, torque can be increased even while engine speed drops under heavy load.

2. Efficiency is important

In the pursuit to enhance efficiency, engineers have added a few new technologies which enhance this tractor's efficiency. For starters, the electronic Vistronic fan has been tuned for maximum fuel efficiency, ensuring need-based cooling performance rather than cooling speed based on engine speed. The reversible fan promises even greater efficiency and reliability.

Another enhancement comes in the form of the optional engine back-pressure brake which saves owner's money by saving the brakes, both on the tractor and on the implement.

3. Connectivity

Growing demand for a connected agricultural machine has grown and manufacturers are installing advanced technology. Case IH has introduced the new AFS Connect portal which is a gateway to the Optum AFS Connect series tractor. It allows you to precisely manage your farm, fleet and data from a desktop or tablet anywhere. Added connectivity helps to maximize uptime and keep operators in the field via support features available in the Optum AFS Connect.

4. Advanced comfort

The cabin is large, luxurious as well as operator-oriented. New styling and high-quality material provide a luxury look and feel, while enhanced heating and air conditioning deliver operator comfort year-round.Plenty of storage compartments, multiple cup holders and numerous charging and data ports add to the operator experience. A full-glass door with no center pillar improve visibility.

5. Latest transmission technology

Another stand out feature of the Case IH Optum 300 Series is the industry leading CVXDrive transmission. This new transmission delivers uninterrupted power to the ground, while incorporating four different ranges. These allow for increased efficiency and effective delivery of power for those tough jobs. With the added benefit of ActiveStop, the engine holds the tractor in place, letting you more easily start and stop on inclines without using the clutch or brake.
