John Deere S Series Combine harvester updated

New technology
One of the latest additions to the new S Series range is the introduction of the JDLink. This revolutionary system is a wireless connection which enables the machine to stream data to the John Deere Operations Center so that operators can monitor its performance from anywhere and at any time. Operators can use a desktop computer or even mobile device. This system works best when paired to the Connect Mobile app.
The Connect Mobile app allows you to analyze detailed machine information in order to maximize harvest results. Users can also view two live maps for a single field while harvesting, compare harvest data from previous years, and more.
Improved load capacity
Another upgrade to S Series is the fact that it now features a larger load area. This means more time harvesting and less time unloading thanks to a robust 400-bushel grain tank. Further enhancements include the Dyna-Flo Cleaning Shoe which has been specifically designed to deliver clean grain when threshing and separating.
Charging ahead
The S Series is now also available with tracks. These are available in 30 inch or 36 inch belts, which deliver a smooth ride quality with improved flotation and reduced compaction, when compared with wheels. These are also rated at around 46km/h which means that operators can get from one field to another without wasting time.
Forward propulsion
Forward propulsion comes from an uprated John Deere PowerTech PSS engine 13.5-litre engine that develops 405kW. It also benefits from the ProDrive transmission system which allows drivers to easily shift between two speed ranges for precise control. The system allows drivers to set one range to transport and the other to harvest for efficient field work.
Comfort and convenience
When it comes to comfort, the S Series features a spacious cab with plenty of amenities that are within reach. A highlight on offer is the improved drivers seat as well as an excellent view of the header and crops. Another ergonomic standout is the fact that everything the driver needs to easily control the harvest sits right at their fingertips. Apart from more storage space the cabin also features improved Bluetooth speakers that deliver better mobile device functionality.
Additionally, the optional Premium Lighting Package with high-intensity LED Lights provides twice as much output as previous systems. Offering a brighter illumination of the field around you helps you work late into the night.
S Series Combines come with built-in technology to sense potential issues and alert you - or your dealer - when there's a concern. With Connected Support, you get Remote Display Access and Expert Alerts. You can monitor machine fuel levels, location history, receive alerts and view the in-cab display remotely.
