No need to Rush
The Toyota Rush is often referred to as the baby Fortuner. With similar styling cues and familiar lines, the Rush is a fitting step up from the Avanza. The battery in your Rush should last between 2 and 3 years but will degrading after this. In order to keep your Rush running at its optimum you will need to replace the battery and we can show you how its done.

Replacing the car battery is an easy enough task to tackle and you won't even need a lot of tools, here is how to do it
You will need:
- Replacement battery of correct amperage and size
- 10mm socket + driver or wrench
- 12mm socket
Let's get it done
1. Open the bonnet
2. Locate the battery
3. Use the 10mm to remove the negative (-) terminal
4. Use the 10mm to remove the positive (+) terminal
5. Use the 12mm to remove the hold down bracket
6. Exchange battery (Disconnecting the battery without a memory saver will erase all settings in the onboard computer)
7. Assemble in reverse order
