For the purpose of this article, we will be focussing on the Toyota Quantum 2.8 LWB GL 11-seater bus model. Toyota recently made upgrades to this model and a few others in the Quantum and Hiace model ranges. The upgrades include new 16-inch alloy wheels in place of the steel wheels and a new upgraded rear-view mirror which now features an auto-dimming function as well as a reverse camera display. We, however, think there are a few additional accessories you can specify to bolster your ownership experience.

1. Nudge bar

Whether you travel off the beaten path or just navigating the concrete jungle, a nudge bar is always a benefit. Not only does the nudge bar add to the exterior look of the Toyota Quantum but will also effortlessly absorb small impacts without damage occurring on the front bumper or grille. Most importantly, it could protect critical components such as the radiator from damage.

2. Tow bar with rear step

While the benefits of a tow bar are somewhat self-explanatory, the rear step might be not. Similar to the nudge bar fitted upfront the rear step is to add additional reinforcement and protect the vehicle in the event of a small impact. So not only does it look good, but it also serves as a good way to protect your vehicle.

3. Floormat

Whether the vehicle is used for private or commercial purposes, being able to regularly clean the floors is a definite benefit. Toyota offers an optional precisely shaped rubber mat that not only allows the vehicle operator or owner to quickly and effortlessly clean the floor should a passenger spill anything or dirty it with muddy shoes, but the pattern also provide additional grip while navigating to a seat.

4. Safety film

In the event of an accident, the last thing you want is glass shrapnel flying throughout the cabin. This could cause additional injury as it can cut occupants even if the initial impact didn't harm them. To mitigate this, Toyota offers Quantum customers 100-micron and 150-micron safety film kits that can be applied to the windows.

The safety films can also be ordered in either clear, 50% darker or 35% darker variants so that it not only reinforces the glass and keeps the shattered glass in place in the event of an accident but also add to the aesthetics of the vehicle and dim the bright sunlight.
