Many of these systems are now non user-serviceable and if anything goes awry you will have to approach your MB service centre. It is comforting to know that older models can still be serviced at home, and we can show you how it's done.

You will need:

  • Replacement bulbs for your make and model
  • Soft cloth

Let's get it done

1. Open the bonnet

2. Remove the cover at the rear of the headlight assembly

3. Lightly twist the bulb to remove

4. Remove wiring plug and exchange bulb

5. Assemble in reverse and test to ensure proper function
