How to replace a lightbulb on a JAC T6

We show you how to replace the headlight bulb on a JAC T6 double cab

The T6 is a lesser known double cab workhouse from Chinese automakers, Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd. otherwise known as JAC Motors. Based in Hefei, Anhui Province, China, JAC produces a number of vehicles such as the Heyue hatchback, J2 sedan and iEV electric car.

Many of these vehicles have yet to migrate over to LED lighting systems and as such still make use of the H system. The H11 bulbs are easy to replace without any tools needed, and we can show you how it's done.

 

 

You will need:

  • Replacement H11 bulbs 
  • Soft cloth

 

 

Let's get it done

 

1. Open the bonnet

 

2. Locate the back of the headlight cluster in the engine bay.

 

3. Locate the wiring plug on the bulb 

 

4. Remove the connector plug from the bulb.

 

6. Twist to remove bulb

 

7. Replace the bulb 

 

8. Assemble in reverse order
