How to change wiper blades on a Citroen C4 Cactus

We show you how to replace the windscreen wiperblades on a Citroën C4 Cactus

Car Ownership

Not so prickly on the outside

Citroën is rather well known for making off-the-wall and quirky cars, the C4 Cactus is a prime example of their design philosophy. An odd seating position, and an outside the box aesthetic are just a few of the joys of ownership.

They really do like to do things differently, even when it comes to simple things like windscreen wiper blades. As with most things French there is a bit of a catch when replacing these but no need to worry, as we can show you all the tricks.

You will need:

  • Correct manufacturer approved replacement blades

Let's get it done

1. Put the wiper blades into the service position by switching ignition on and off again, then press down on wiper stalk once

2. Gently remove the washer feed pipe from the wiper blade

3. Lift the wiper arm up

4. Depress tabs and pull off wiper blade arm.

5. Push new blade on until it clicks into place

6. Refit washer feed pipe.
