Connecting Android phone

Before you can get all the benefits of connecting your Android phone to your car's infotainment system, your phone needs to be installed with the latest version of the Android Auto application found here. Once Android Auto has been installed, you can now connect your phone to the infotainment system and get access to some of your favourite applications.

1. Switch on your vehicle but remain in a stationary position for the entire process.

2. Open the Android Auto application on your Android phone and connect your phone to the vehicle via a USB cable.

3. Pay attention to both the infotainment screen as well as your phone, as there will be prompts to connect the two devices as well as prompts for the terms of use to agree with.

4. Once access is accepted and the terms of use are agreed to, your Android Auto is now connected and you can access navigation applications such as Google maps as well as entertainment apps such as Spotify.

5. Note that both your phone and the vehicle's infotainment system will remember the connection and future connections will be much simpler.
