Fitting three car seats in the back of a Hyundai Tucson N Line
The Hyundai Tucson N Line has a standard seating capacity of five, which means that there are only three seats in the back. While it could be possible to fit three car seats in the back, it may not be the most comfortable or practical option, as the Tucson isn't the biggest car; after all, it's a mid-size SUV, not a large one, yet I found it to be sufficiently roomy for rear passengers without car seats.

With the availability of two ISOFIX anchorage points on the two outer rear seats, parents can confidently install Isofix seats, but what other child seats will fit?
Because I don't have various sizes of car and infant seats hiding in my garage, I consulted Babydrive, whose main aim is to tell prospective car buyers how many seats, prams, shopping bags, and water bottles they can fit into a car.

Can three child seats fit side by side?
According to the website, yes:
- 2 x Isofix seats can be installed on the outer rear seats,
- 3 x Top-tether car seats can be installed side by side
- 2 x Rear-facing seats and 1 x forward-facing seat can fit next to each other.
To illustrate this, the author put a booster seat next to a forward-facing seat (in the middle) with another rear-facing seat next to it without any problems:
There are three top tether anchorages, one in each of the rear seatbacks that are easily accessible through the boot and within clearly labelled plastic guides. The ISOFix points are in the two outer rear seats, and although they are not within plastic guides I still found them easy to connect to. - Babydrive
However: All car seats are not created equal and come in various shapes and sizes, so if you're going to the dealership to test drive a Hyundai, ensure you bring all seats along to test it first.
In short, don't buy until you've fitted three seats across the back seats to ensure they fit properly.

Can adults still fit in front of a rear-facing seat?
Adults who aren't taller than 1.84 cm will easily fit in front of a rear-facing seat.
What about boot capacity?
The Tucson's boot is lovely and large and will easily fit your child's pram or stroller, along with a selection of smaller soft bags or grocery bags.

Should you buy a Tucson N Line as a family vehicle?
Yes, but just bear in mind that keeping the suede sport seats clean won't be as easy as just wiping them off with a damp cloth.
