In terms of safety features, the new Urban Cruiser now has the following as standard fitment:

  • Anti-Theft - Immobiliser and alarm systems
  • Park Distance Control (Rear)
  • ABS and EBD
  • Hill-Assist Control
  • Vehicle Stability Control
  • Airbags- Driver and Passenger (Side and curtain added for XR models)

No place for 3

Another safety aspect is the fact that the Urban Cruiser has ISOfix which means that your children's car seats can be securely attached to the Toyota's two outer rear seats in the second row, providing an extra layer of safety. Unfortunately, there is no third attachment point, meaning that you can only safely fit 2 car seats.
