Two levels of protection to choose from
SVI offers two different armouring packages for the Everest: B4 and B6.
The B4 package is designed for protection against handguns, making it a great option for anyone concerned about carjacking. It uses a combination of armoured glass, Kevlar, and armoured steel plates to provide comprehensive protection for the passenger compartment. This lightweight solution won't bog down your Everest's performance, and it doesn't require any suspension upgrades.
Need the ultimate in civilian ballistic protection? Then themore comprehensive B6 package is for you. This heavy-duty option offers 360-degree defense against assault rifles, including AK-47s. It uses custom-made armoured steel plates, composite materials, and thick ballistic glass to keep you safe. To handle the extra weight, the B6 package also includes a suspension upgrade and stronger door hinges.
Both armour packages are designed to ensure your Everest's driver-assistance safety systems, like those relying on windshield-mounted sensors, continue to function properly.
Cost and build time
The B4 armour package starts at R725,684 (excluding VAT), while the B6 package starts at R928,534 (excluding VAT). These prices don't include the cost of the base Everest itself. The build time for either package is approximately three months.
