By entering our EV Buyers Survey competition, you could win two tickets (valued at R56,000 in total) to join this exclusive one-of-a-kind road trip, including accommodation for either 3 or 4 days, depending on which stage of the event you choose to join in on.

What does the evrt Africa Road Trip 2022 entail?

The evrt Africa event spans 9 days in total, features 15 EVs and nearly 100 participants. During the trip, participants will have an opportunity to experience the very latest EVs introduced to the local market, be a part of the opening of new EV charging stations and also have access to key decision-makers and media representatives making the electric revolution possible in South Africa.

This year's event hopes to also feature a new drag race event, where participants can experience the performance of EVs in a safe, controlled environment. The event will also include the African leg of The World Regeneration Challenge, adding a competitive element to an already exciting few days.

How do I enter?

If you're older than 18 and a South African resident, all you need to do is participate in the online South African EV Car Buyer Survey by the 17th of September 2021 to help us and Smarter Mobility Africa gain a better understanding of how South Africans feel about electrified cars. It only takes a few minutes and the reward will be worth R56 000 if you are randomly selected as our winner! The winner will be drawn on the 20th of September 2021, at the Smarter Mobility Africa event. The dates for the evrt Africa Road Trip 2022 are still to be confirmed.

• Entry is only available to South African residents who are aged 18 years and older, who are in possession of a valid South African driver’s license
• The competition is not open to: directors, members, partners, agents, employees or consultants of the AutoTrader or Spintelligent (Pty) Ltd group of companies or any supplier of goods or services in connection with a competition; and the spouse, life partner, business partner or associate, or the natural or adopted parent, child, or sibling, of any of the persons specified in above.
• Entrants must fully complete the South African EV Car Buyer Survey on the AutoTrader website, in order to be eligible for the draw. 
• The survey ends midnight Friday, 17 September 2021
• Winners are to be drawn on Monday, 20 September 2021 and announced at the Smarter Mobility Africa event, which runs 5 - 7 October 2021.
• The prize is 2 X 1 stage evrt Africa Road Trip Tickets, which includes the opportunity to experience some of the electric vehicles, accommodation (bed and breakfast at any 4-star establishment) for 3 or 4 days depending on whether you join for stage 1 or 2 
• Total prize value: R56 000 
• Dates: The evrt Africa 2022 dates are still to be announced
• The prize winner will redeem their prize directly with the Smart Mobility Africa event organiser, Spintelligent (Pty) Ltd - AutoTrader South Africa is in no way liable for the availability, utilization and redemption of the prize.
• There are only evrt Africa Road Trip tickets to be won over the period of the competition
• The total retail prize is valued at R56 000
• The evrt Africa Road Trip tickets cannot be redeemed or exchanged for any other form of prizes
• The evrt Africa Road Trip ticket prizes are non-transferable
• The evrt Africa Road Trip ticket prizes cannot be converted into cash
• These are two single use evrt Africa Road Trip tickets. Any unused portion of the ticket is forfeited and is not redeemable for cash or other forms of credit.
• Notification and claiming the Prize. Following the Prize draw, the winner will be notified using the contact details provided by the Entrant. The winning Entrant has 48 hours from the time and date of the notification being sent to respond, provide proof of eligibility, together with a certified copy of his/her unendorsed driver’s license and claim the Prize. If the Prize is not claimed by the winning Entrant within this time frame, the Prize will be redrawn and any previous winners will forgo all claims to the Prize.
• COVID19: If evrt Africa Road Trip gets delayed for any reason, the prize will be transferred to the first evrt Africa we host, subsequent to the delay. Furthermore, if the evrt Africa does not go ahead at any point in the future there will be no refund or value to the prize. 
• This evrt Africa Road Trip tickets will be deemed fully used once a qualifying booking has been made and confirmed to be available. The evrt Africa Road Trip tickets will not be reinstated, refunded or replaced, even in the event that the reservation is cancelled or changed.
• Changes or Cancellation may incur additional charges from Airlines, Hotels or other Suppliers. The winners are responsible to pay any such additional charges and The evrt Africa Road Trip will not take responsibility for any additional costs associated with any such changes or cancellations, to the original booking requested by the winners.
• There is no residual value and no credit will be issued if the booking amount is less than the evrt Africa Road Trip ticket amount.
• The winner may add services or stay additional nights, however, the winners are responsible for any additional costs.
• The evrt Africa Road Trip tickets are not transferable, exchangeable, replaceable or refundable for cash or credit and can only be used as specified.
• All taxes, fees, charges and surcharges applicable to the booking, including, without limitation, extra person, phone, parking and other charges are applicable to your reservation, and these EVRT Africa Road Trip tickets cannot be applied to them. These charges must be paid at the time the reservation is confirmed or to the hotel property directly and are the responsibility solely of the winners.
• The evrt Africa Road Trip ticket cannot be applied to any costs or miscellaneous fees charged by the Hotel or Airline and incurred by the winners.
• Terms and conditions of this offer are as written and cannot be changed by any representation of any unauthorized person, including employees of Spintelligent (Pty) Ltd.
• evrt Africa Road Trip tickets are void where prohibited or restricted by law.
• Proof of age and physical residency will be required to claim the prize and are at the discretion of Spintelligent (Pty) Ltd
