Grand Cherokee
Don't let their size and luxury fitment fool you, the Grand Cherokee is more than capable of handling a rough off-road tour. The overall size of these vehicles may make tight overlanding somewhat difficult, but you can if you want to try.

Wrangler
The Wrangler is the shape that comes to mind when the word Jeep is mentioned. These machines with their short overhangs and low range capabilities are the quintessential trail-rated machine.

Renegade
The softest of the line-up, the Renegade is a Jeep for the streets. available in 2WD or AWD the Renegade is for the urban adventurer and boasts all the styling traits of the Jeep brand.

Verdict
As you can see, the Renegade Sport is the cheapest new Jeep you can buy. While it is essentially a Fiat 500X under the skin it does have some offroad chops and can tackle light gravel and dirt.
