The Omoda C5 cuts the bow, introducing the new subbrand from the Chery group. If you want to read a review on the C5, look no further than my colleague Chad Lückhoff's review, which you can peruse over here.

Tech and luxury at a good price is the name of the game here with the OMODA C5. The C5 stands out on the road with its sleek silhouette thanks to OMmoda's 'Art in Motion' Design language. Pair what with a luxurious yet tech-laden cabin with dual high-res 10.25" digital displays, which are touch-sensitive and linked to the 64-colour ambient lighting system. Combo that with a Sony sound system (excluding the Tech variant.) to really set the mood. Powerwise, you'll find a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 115kW and 230Nm linked to a CVT transmission. If you're keen on a little more power and some added style, there's also the C5 GT for you to check out.
There are six variants to choose from, so we'll pick the entry-level C5, then a middle-of-the-road variant, and finally, the top-of-the-range variants. With these choices in mind, let's see what good deals are on AutoTrader.co.za. Alternatively, you can search for yourself here and sell your car too. Should you buy a Used Omoda C5 though?
1. Omoda C5 230T Tech
The Tech variant is the entry-level C5. The Tech omits some features but keeps vital ones so as not to take away from the technologically luxurious experience. This example linked here is a demo model, and as our price ratings indicate, this is a low price for this vehicle with low mileage, too.
2. Omoda C5 230T Elegance S
The Elegance S is just below the top-of-the-line GT variant but comes packed to the nines with specifications, including Driver Assistance systems and a full house of interior features like the Sony sound system. This example is fairly priced according to our price ratings tool and has demo mileage. You'll also find an aftermarket front lip and bigger wheels.
3. Omoda C5 290T GT
This is the top-of-the-line C5, the GT variant that houses a more powerful 1.6-litre TGDI petrol engine paired with a DCT transmission. You'll see 145kW and 290Nm from this engine. This example here has delivery mileage and is priced at the current new pricing of R589 900.
