Audi e-tron range to make local debut

Luxury German automaker, Audi, announced recently that South Africa will be receiving a range of full electric vehicles in the first quarter of 2022.

Arriving under the e-tron product banner, prices and specifications will be released at a later date, but Audi South Africa have released the models that will be initially coming to our shores.

Audi has been on a massive drive recently to ensure sustainability of the brand while also concentrating on technological development and the push to move away from internal combustion engines. As for the vehicles themselves South African buyers can add a further 5 electric models to their EV shopping lists.

 

For those that prefer an SUV Audi is bringing the e-tron 50 and 55

 

For coupe styled CUV there will be the Audi e-tron Sportback 55 and Sportback S

 

and for the sports GT class the Audi e-tron RS Sportback GT  

 

Autotrader's data shows that many South Africans are ready to embrace new technology and electrification and with more automotive manufacturers deciding to bring in electric models it is going to give consumers more choice.
