Is the Audi A4 a good car?

The Audi A4 is one of the German automaker's most successful sedan models. It strikes the perfect balance between size, performance and price within its customer base and is certainly a good car.

Who is the Audi A4 a good car for?

As Audi's catchphrase, Vorsprung Durch Technik (progress through technology), insinuates, the Audi A4 comes with the latest technology under the bonnet and inside the cabin. The Audi A4 is a good car for a professional individual that wants a stylish German sedan with ample power and distinct styling and the latest in mobility technology.

Is the Audi A4 a good first car?

The Audi A4 is not as compact as its predecessors, however, with all the standard driving assistant systems is just as easy, if not easier to pilot. It is safe, reliable and comfortable and will make a good first vehicle if you can afford it.

Is the Audi A4 a good family car?

The Audi A4 offer five seats and 490-litre of boot space which makes it a practical choice for a family vehicle. The A4 also comes fitted as standard with six airbags including curtain airbags for the rear occupants which makes it safe for the entire family.

Is there a Hybrid Audi A4?

The Audi A4 35TFSI and 40TFSI variants utilise a 12-volt mild-hybrid system (MHEV). While this system won't allow drivers to drive on pure electric power, it provides power to the auxiliary items such as the air condition system as well as the power steering and further allows the vehicle to coast as it decelerates, to save fuel. Audi has announced that they have stopped the development of internal combustion engines and is focussing their efforts on hybrid versions of the current engine range and also fully electric vehicles.

What’s it like to drive?

Reviewers opinion

"The all-new 2016 Audi A4 is longer and wider than its predecessor, but they've managed to shave off up to 120kg from the weight. They've also redesigned it to slice through the air better. In theory, this should mean better performance and improved fuel consumption. With improved interior trim levels, we see if there is any weight to their argument."

Interior

What is the Audi A4 like inside?

The interior of the A4 is constructed with premium materials and delivers a comfortable and stylish environment for all the occupants. Audi has also added many tech features as standard equipment to the minimalist interior design, it is certainly a nice place to be.

Style

Ever since the original A4 model (B5) arrived on the scene, Audi has over the generations incrementally added more angular and defined lines to the exterior and interior design. The newest model (B9) continues this trend with even sharper head and tail lamps and more explicit lines along the front, rear and sides of the vehicle.

The design of the latest Audi A4 is not only modern and aesthetically pleasing but sets it apart from its closest rivals. And in doing so attracts a very specific customer base.
