With many manufacturers moving away from traditional halogen style bulbs and installing LED type headlights it's comforting to know that if you own a slightly older Audi A4 you can still replace your headlight bulbs when they eventually give up the ghost. This is not an overly complicated task and can be done in a few minutes with minimal tools and will leave you feeling like a master mechanic once you're done.

Let's get take a look at the steps involved in replacing your Audi A4's headlight bulbs
You will need:
- New headlight bulbs for your year and model derivative
- Soft cloth
- 10mm wrench
- T30 Torx bit and driver
Let's get it done:
1.Open the bonnet.
2. Using the 10mm wrench remove the two top bolts holding in the headlight assembly.
3. Using the T30 Torx driver, undo the two screws at the rear of the assembly.
4. Slide assembly forward and remove the rear cover of the bulb housing.
5. Twist the bulb holder anti-clockwise to remove.
6. Carefully replace bulb
7. Re assemble unit and repeat on opposite side.
8. Test units to ensure correct operation
