New-and-improved Mazda CX-30 now on sale in SA

If Japanese crossovers are your thing, you should know that the Mazda CX-30 has just been upgraded. Here's what it entails.

What’s new in the Mazda CX-30?

Mazda recently added a host of new features across the entire CX-30 range, enhancing the already impressive list of standard equipment in South African models.

1. Mazda CX-30 2.0L Active AT Edition: Entry-level packs a punch

The CX-30 is surprisingly dynamic to drive and has elegant yet understated styling. Search for a pre-loved model here!

Despite being the entry point, the Active Edition comes packed with features like Mazda i-Stop, an electronic parking brake, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift knob. (Buying used? Read our review of the CX-30 here.)

The new upgrades now include:

  • Android Auto & Wireless Apple CarPlay
  • USB (type C) connectivity ports - 2
  • 10.25-inch Display Screen


2. Mazda CX-30 2.0L Dynamic AT Edition: Style meets substance

The Dynamic Edition, a high-value offering in the segment, gets the same tech boost as the Active, plus these added perks:

  • 18” Alloy Wheels
  • Daytime Running Lights (DRL)
  • Wireless charging for your smartphone
  • Front Parking Sensors


3. Mazda CX-30 2.0L Carbon AT Edition: Sporty luxury and exclusivity

Building on its already impressive standard features like rear parking sensors and dual-zone climate control, the Carbon Edition now comes with:

  • Power liftgate for the boot
  • a sunroof

These additions, combined with the car's black mirrors and red interior stitching, create an exclusive, stylish, sporty package.


4. Mazda CX-30 2.0L Individual AT Edition: Top-of-the-range opulence

The flagship Individual Edition gets all the upgrades mentioned above, plus a stunning new Retro Sports interior option featuring luxurious Terracotta upholstery against a sleek black backdrop.

  • CX-30 2.0L Individual AT Edition: R630,900
