Porsche has added the new 911 Carrera S to its model lineup, bridging the gap between the 911 Carrera and the 911 Carrera GTS. Its 3.0-litre turbocharged boxer motor produces 353 kW/530Nm, and the model now features more standard equipment.

More power
The powertrain has been revamped to deliver performance that rivals the 992.1 Carrera GTS, with a noticeable power increase and lower emissions. The 3.0-litre twin-turbo six-cylinder engine now produces 353 kW and 530 Nm of torque, an increase of 22kW compared to its predecessor. Porsche's upgrades include new turbochargers and optimised charge-air cooling. The Carrera S Coupé accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in a claimed 3.3 seconds, with a top speed of 308 km/h. The eight-speed Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK) sends power to the rear wheels.
Enhanced Standard Equipment
Porsche has significantly upgraded the standard equipment in the Carrera S. This includes staggered 20/21-inch Carrera S wheels, a sports exhaust system with silver tailpipes, and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), a feature not available in the standard Carrera. The new brake system, borrowed from the 911 Carrera GTS, includes red brake callipers, 408mm front discs and 380mm rear discs. Further performance-enhancing options are available, such as the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system and the PASM sports suspension, which lowers the ride height by 10 millimetres and features rear-wheel steering.
Interior
Inside, the standard black leather package extends across the seats, headrests, dashboard, door panels, and the optional rear seat system in the Coupé. The Cabriolet version comes with a standard rear seat system. Porsche offers an option with more extensive leather coverage, including the glove box lid, side panels, and seat base, with optional contrast stitching in Crayon for added sophistication.
The Carrera S has upgraded standard features, including Matrix LED headlights and a wireless smartphone charger. Available options include a front axle lift system, HD-Matrix LED headlights, and the Sport Chrono package with the Porsche Track Precision app, which is ideal for track days.
