Chery Tiggo 8 Pro

The Tiggo 8 Pro features a 10.25-inch colour touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality as well as a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and an 8.0-inch screen for the climate control functions.

The 8 Pro's infotainment system is bolstered by an intelligent voice-activated assistant as well as a Sony sound system.

Haval H6

The H6 features a 12.3-inch colour touchscreen infotainment system as well as a 10.25-inch digitised instrument cluster.

The system features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality and there is also a head-up display available.

The Scorpio-N gets an 8.0-inch infotainment system with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality, while other niceties such as a 12-speaker Sony sound system and a small digital screen in the instrument cluster make the Mahindra just about acceptable in terms of its infotainment offering.

Verdict

The systems in all three products provide a good basic infotainment experience, especially with how far infotainment has come over the past five years, however, from our experience, the system in the Haval was the pick of the three.
