“Producers need more time to tackle the tough jobs on their operations, and this Model Year 2021 tractor lineup aims to help provide more uptime, more efficiency and more comfort to make long days feel shorter,” said J.E. Cadle, Case IH

The Puma Series tractors deliver the right size and power to handle a wide range of applications. Case engineers used feedback from their customers to provide an enhanced operator experience and maximize productivity.

Updates to the Puma Series tractors include:

  • Increased service intervals to maximize efficiency and uptime
  • Redesigned bonnet section with enhanced LED work lights to provide a uniformly lit work area, helping the operator safely tackle after hour jobs
  • Drivability improvements for the optional CVXDrivecontinuously variable transmission
  • In-cab cool box feature for enhanced comfort
  • Redesigned optional front hitch
  • Low-mount wiper for maximum visibility in any conditions

More efficient power delivery

Engineers have been able to achieve greater productivity with less fuel consumption thanks to the Case IH Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology. This system improves power delivery, engine responsiveness, fuel economy as well as durability, all while lowering emissions.

With the latest advancements, the Puma Series is able to achieve longer service intervals without sacrificing on production. The tractor has been tested at 750 hours for engine oil and 1 500 hours for transmission fluid.

Refined transmission

Puma series tractors will be available with the ever impressive and now improved CVXDrive continuously variable transmission. This transmission provides intuitive operation and smooth, seamless power transfer through varying conditions without torque interruption. By selecting the target speed, the transmission automatically adjusts to deliver the desired speed to match load conditions.

Improved comfort

Nothing slows productivity down like an uncomfortable operator experience. The new Puma Series tractor boasts comfort updates designed with operators in mind. The updates include a host of convenient features that lead to increased productivity out in the field.

Features such as a premium leather-wrapped steering wheel and in-cab cool box keep operators comfortable during long days, while enhancements such as LED safety lighting, new sleek rearview mirror and low-mounted front wiper make for greater visibility for out in the field.
