What you need to know about the Case IH Farmall JX

More than 160 years of experience in agriculture has given Case IH a clear insight into farmers’ needs. For this reason, Case IH has refined their Farmall offering with the introduction of the JX. This updated tractor offers more powerful engine options as well as a variety of productivity boosting features. characteristics like manoeuvrability, visibility and handling have been placed at the top of the features list. Enhanced power delivery

The Farmall JX range is powered by upgraded 8000 Series, Turbocharged Engines, carefully tuned to provide optimum fuel efficiency and maximum power. Engine options range from 55kW up to 82kW of power for a wide range of usability. Furthermore, Simple, robust design results in trouble-free, long-life working, and reduces maintenance requirements. The updated engines provide increased economy without compromising on power and durability, these motors can provide up to a 30% torque rise which means fewer gear changes and greater efficiency when in operation.

 

Improved cabin comfort

Drivers of Farmall JX quickly become comfortable, and remain at their best right through the day. Seat armrests are standard equipment, the seat is readily adjusted to their needs and the air suspension smooths out the shocks from rough field conditions or road transport.

Emphasis has been placed on the ergonomics offered by the Farmall JX. The control unit offers logically-positioned controls with clear, concise instrumentation to make tasks less arduous when working. Levers and switches fall easily to hand, making operation instinctive after only a short time at the steering wheel.

Thanks to the implementation of slim pillars, large mirrors and a broad windscreen the view to loaders and mounted implements is among the best in its class. Visibility is further enhanced due to the optional new high visibility roof screen which makes it well-suited to loader work, while a revised lighting package turns night into day when working after dark.

 

High-Capacity Hydraulics and PTO

Farmall JX tractors now benefit from an improved 40l/min open-centre hydraulic systems. As an optional extra, this capacity can be increased to 51.7l with a high flow pump or 63l mega flow options. Furthermore, the tractors can be equipped with up to three rear remote valves. Rear linkage lift capacity is rated up to 4700kg. While a 540 PTO is fitted as standard, an optional 540/540E or 540/1000 and servo-assisted PTO engagement can be fitted.

 

Getting into high-gear

The Farmall JX offers a wide range of transmission options which include a 12 x 12 synchromesh, a 20 x 12 creep speed transmission or a 12 x 12 Powershuttle, offering clutchless direction changes. Top travel speeds of 30 kph are available on Farmall JX tractors, and for additional assurance when stopping, whatever the conditions, a braked front axle is optional on all models.

Easy maintenance more production

The Farmall JX has been designed to offer improved maintenance which results in less downtime. This is made possible by the fact that engine oil checks are now possible without lifting the hood. The single-piece bonnet gives easy access to the cooling package for cleaning purposes. The optional dust ejector extends the service interval of the air filter. The Farmall JX Range comes standard with a big 110-litre fuel tank, ensuring you stay productive so the working day is not interrupted by the need to refuel.
