It’s all about connectivity

We live in a connected world where our phones share information with our computers, our televisions and even watches. This information is used to offer us unique services and much like this integration, so too is connectivity a vital element in the agricultural sector. The new Magnum series tractor offers a level of connectivity and remote viewing never before seen in the segment. The AFS Connect portal is a gateway to the Magnum AFS Connect series tractor. It allows you to precisely manage your farm, fleet and data from a desktop or tablet. You can now share information with preferred providers, perform diagnostics remotely and make data-driven decisions related to operations performed by your Magnum  AFS Connect tractor from anywhere.

Advanced Cabin

Case IH used a clean-sheet approach to completely redesign the automotive-grade cab of this latest Magnum Series tractor. New styling and high-quality material provide a luxury look and feel, while enhanced heating and air conditioning deliver operator comfort year-round. Other highlights include the newly designed Multicontroller armrest which has eight free configurable control buttons and a Multicontroller handle with four programmable buttons. It also has an Industry exclusive illuminated, colour coded, configurable remote valve levers for clear and intuitive operation.

There is also 6.3 m2 of glass in the cab, which gives you a 360-degree full field of vision, including an unobstructed view of the hitch. The Magnum’s sloped hood optimises forward visibility. Plenty of storage compartments, multiple cup holders and numerous charging and data ports add to the operator experience.

Leading power and performance

Case IH FPT engines are extensively developed and tested for best results. This new Magnum AFS Connect makes use of the brand's trusted and reliable  8.7-litre engine which has clocked millions of hours on farms around the world without fail. Case IH FPT engines achieve up to 14% power growth, providing the power you need when you need it. They also feature a power boost of up to 26kW, over and above the already 300kW on offer. Magnum engines offer innovations like engine braking, which reduces drivetrain wear and improves machine control.

Class leading transmission

Today’s powerful lineup of Magnum tractors is engineered to make your job easier and more productive. The new Magnum makes use of the industry leading CVXDrive transmission which has been designed to deliver uninterrupted power. It  incorporates three ranges which enable it to be more efficient and deliver more power for tough jobs. Plus, with ActiveStop, the engine holds the tractor in place, letting you easily start and stop on inclines without using the clutch or brake. Furthermore, CVXDrive automatically chooses the most fuel efficient combination of engine speed and drivetrain.

Lifting power guaranteed

The Magnum AFS Connect Tractor offers Hydraulic flow which can be configured to handle most row-crop applications. Magnum tractors provide up to 282 l/min hydraulic flow so you can run at lower engine rpm for increased fuel efficiency. The rear hitch offers a lift capacity up to 11,700kg while the front gives you the ability to handle more 3-point implement applications.
