The latest incarnation of the Honda Civic is a much more grown up version of the popular tuner car. This more mature version will still require maintenance as it ages and simple tasks such as replacing fused bulbs can be done by yourself and save a trip to the dealership.

Replacing a bulb is a relatively easy task, and we can show you how it's done.

 

You will need:

  • No.3 Phillips screwdriver
  • Replacement double filament taillight bulbs

 

Let's get it done

 

1. Open the boot lid

 

2. Locate the retaining screws

 

3. Remove the screws with screwdriver

 

4. Remove the assembly by pulling away from the vehicle

 

5. Locate the defective bulb

 

6. Twist bulb holder to remove

 

7. Exchange bulb

 

8. Reassemble to reverse order
