Honda has been praised by many as being one of the most dependable cars out there. No matter how reliable a car may be, they are all vulnerable to flat tyres. Whether you have an entry level civic sedan or the hot hatch Type R you could end up on the side of the road with a flat. The main difference here is that with the higher end sports models you may only have a repair kit and no spare tyre. If the damage to the tyre is severe the repair kit will be of no help and a tow truck will be in your future.

Let's get it done!
- Make sure the vehicle is on as flat level surface as possible and that the hand brake is engaged.
- Retrieve the space saver spare wheel, car jack and wheel spanner from the kit in the boot.
- Fit the jack near the approved lifting point on the undercarriage and take the weight off of the flat wheel.
- Use the wheel spanner to remove the wheel bolts.
- Place the spare onto the wheel hub and tighten the wheel bolts.
- Lower the car down and give the wheel bolts a once over to ensure that they are properly tightened.
- Place the flat wheel in the boot along with the tools.
Ensure that you have the flat wheel fixed or replaced as soon as possible as you don't want to be stuck without it!
