How to replace a lightbulb on a Subaru Outback

With LED lighting becoming the norm on almost all new vehicles and many of these newer systems being non-user serviceable, it's good to know that there are still many cars that make use of H Style bulbs that can be replaced once the fuse. The Subaru Outback makes use of H7 type bulbs that are actually very easy to replace.

We can show you how it's done. No tools needed!

 

 

You will need:

  • Replacement H7 bulbs
  • Soft cloth

 

 

Let's get it done

 

1. Open the bonnet

 

2. Locate the back the headlight assembly

 

3. Remove wiring plug

 

4. Twist the bulb to remove

 

5. Replace the bulb (Try not to touch the glass, if you do, clean with a soft cloth)

 

6. Reassemble in reverse order
