How to replace a lightbulb on a Peugeot 3008

The Peugeot 3008 is a master class of innovation and styling. It is technologically advanced for a vehicle in this segment and has a lot to offer styling wise. The 3008 makes use of H7 style headlight bulbs which have the same approximate lifespan as a standard H4 bulb but do deliver a brighter beam of light to illuminate the road ahead.

If one of these bulbs goes out, it is a relatively easy repair that can be done in a matter of minutes with no tools needed, and we can show you how to replace them when the time comes.

 

You will need:

  • Replacement H7 style bulbs for your year model

 

Let's get it done!

 

1. Open the bonnet.

 

2. Locate the back of the headlight assembly and remove the plastic cover.

 

3. Remove the wiring plug.

 

4. Gently pull the bulb out, it just clips in place.

 

5. Replace the bulb, ensuring that the contacts line up.

 

6. Replace the wiring plug and cover.

 

7. Test the lights to ensure everything is in correct working order.
