1. It's won 67 awards across 3 continents

If you're buying a new car, you want to be sure that it's a winner in every respect, right? Well, get a load of this list of achievements for the 3008...

The 3008 was named  Car of the Year in 19 countries altogether, and also won the European Car of the year award in 2017. It was the winner of the SUV category at the 2017 Women's World Car of the Year competition. Other awards include two Red Dot Product design awards "for its innovative achievements in design". 2. Peugeot Pride is standard on the new 3008 and all new models from September 2019

The last thing you need is a car that will cause you aftersales headaches. Yes, we are well aware of the reputation that French cars have in South Africa. However, Peugeot has vowed to take care of the Peugeot customer like never before.

In order to change the general misconception of Peugeot cars being expensive to service, and/or parts being hard to find, Peugeot has introduced Peugeot Pride. With the sale of every new model, you will have (according to Peugeot SA):

  • A 5-year / 100 000 km warranty & Service plan across the range; (This includes all parts and labour except for wear-and-tear items, tyres, and damage due to driver abuse or negligence, and / or natural phenomena.)
  • Peace of Mind: Courtesy Car, Peugeot Parts Basket, Complimentary Vehicle Health Check;
  • Customer Experience:  A personalised service you can enjoy;
  • Safety: 6 airbags across the range, Microdot, dedicated Apps connected to the car, and Safety Film and Tracking solutions, (optional);
  • 360º Service:  License Renewal Reminder, Roadside Assistance, My Peugeot App.

Should your vehicle be immobilised due to a part not being delivered within 48 hours, Peugeot will supply you with an above-mentioned courtesy car (while your car is still under its warranty / maintenance plan, of course).

3. The Peugeot 3008 is probably more reliable than you thought...

In the UK-based Driver Power's list of top 10 best cars to own, The 3008 took the no. 2 position.This ranking is based on "thousands of responses from owners, who have rated their cars across 31 subject areas in nine separate categories." The Lexus RX took third place, while the Kia Sorento took top honours.

Peugeot, as a brand, was also the winner of the JD Power UK Vehicle Dependability Study.

Most new Peugeot owners, abroad and locally, are satisfied with their purchase and 9 out of 10 local Peugeot 3008 owners would recommend a Peugeot to a friend.
