Here at AutoTrader SA we receive quite a few questions about the maintenance on these units, and recently we were asked how these headlights are repaired. We did some research around this topic as the vehicle is still relatively new, to find out if you can replace these bulbs yourself.

Lifelong service

LED headlight bulbs have a lifespan exceeding 15 000 hours of operation and should never need to be replaced during the lifespan of the vehicle. If the bulbs do however stop working it is best to take the vehicle to an official Renault dealer or workshop to have the problem addressed as the problem may run deeper than a simple fused LED unit. Accessing the LED headlight units requires the removal of parts of the front end which will most likely exceed the capabilities of even the most ardent DIY'er and as such this task should be left to a professional technician at an approved workshop.
