Light Patrol
With the latest incarnation of the Nissan Patrol (Y62) now coming with HID 's or LED units, it is very difficult to replace just the bulbs without simply replacing the entire light assembly. We are therefore going to take a look at changing the headlight bulbs in Nissan's most famous Patrol model, the GU.

You will need:
- Replacement bulbs for your model and year
- Large Philips screwdriver (Optional)
Let's get it done.

1. Open the bonnet

2. Locate the back of the headlight where bulb is to be replaced.
3. Locate the connector plug.
4. Squeeze the clip to remove the plug.

5. Remove the rubber dust cover.

6. Compress the retainer clip and pull away from assembly, freeing the bulb.

7. Replace bulb.

8. Reassemble in reverse order.
NOTE: If you are unable to directly access the bulb connector in step 3, you will need to remove the headlight assembly.
To do this you will need the Philips screwdriver to remove the three screws that hold the assembly in place, this should however be the last resort as you will need to re-level the light assembly after installation.
