Windscreen wiper blades are just one of those consumables that will need replacing every few years. Due to the fact that they're made with rubber components and that this rubber is exposed to the elements, means that over the course of time the rubber perishes and deteriorates. This has a negative impact on your wiper blades' performance.
Changing your wiper blades is a quick and easy task, even if you've never attempted to work on your car yourself. You don't even need tools to perform a replacement.

You will need:
A new set of wiper blades, correct for your model. Enquire at your local parts store for the correct fitment. The Mercedes-AMG GLC uses a specific Mercedes-Benz fitment.
How to:
1. Start your car but leave it in Park.
2. Start your wipers but stop them again when they're in the raised position.
3. Switch off the car.
4. Lift the arm of the windscreen wiper.
5. Lift the lower edge of the wiper blade away from the arm.
6. Pinch the retaining clip between your forefinger and thumb.
7. Pull the clip away from the base of the wiper arm.
8. The wiper blade is now released. Pull it away from the arm.
9. Insert the new blade in the reverse of the removal.
10. Ensure the wiper blade is seated correctly.
11. Push down the retaining clip.
12. Lower the wiper arm.
13. Repeat Steps 4 through 12 for the other arm.
14. Start the car and test the wiper blades.
