The internal combustion engine is a complicated piece of machinery. It relies on hundreds of components working together in unison to provide propulsion for your vehicle. Modern engines may be more reliable than old ones, but they still require maintenance and upkeep. An engine's durability and longevity depend on the quality of the lubricants and the correct timing of all the events occurring within it.

Omoda warranty and service plan

The Omoda C9 comes with a warranty and service plan included in the price. The warranty covers any manufacturer defects, while the service plan covers the costs of regular services.

The warranty covers the vehicle for 7 years or 200 000 km, whichever comes first. It also includes an additional 10-year/1 000,000 km warranty on the engine itself, but it only applies to the vehicle's first owner.

The service plan covers the vehicle for the first 7 years or 100 000 km, whichever comes first.

How often should you service an Omoda C9?

The service intervals for the Omoda C9 are scheduled every 15,000 km or every 12 months. If you drive more than 15,000 km in a year, you must service your Omoda more frequently, sometimes twice a year.

If you don't drive more than 15,000 km in 12 months, you must book your Omoda for an annual service.

Maintaining the correct service schedule is important, as a missed service can render your warranty null and void.
