The Ford Everest Widtrak is no different to any other car with an internal combustion engine and will need to be serviced on a regular basis. The service schedule for a Ford Everest Wildtrak is set at 15 000 km intervals or annually, whichever comes first. Warranty and maintenance plans
Ford sells the Everest Wildtrak with a 4-year/120 000 km warranty and a 4-year/Unlimited km Roadside Assistance plan. A corrosion warranty covers it for 5-years/Unlimited km but the customer has to choose to specify either a service plan or a maintenance plan at an additional cost. This is in line with the regulations surrounding the Right To Repair act. Customers buying the Everest new chain choose a duration of up to 8 years and up to 165 000 km. The warranty can also be extended, up to 7-years or 200 000 km.
If you're buying used Everest Wildtrak, be sure to get, in writing, confirmation of the selected plan for the vehicle in question. You may be able to extend whatever plan is in place, but may not be able to switch it from a maintenance to a service plan and vice versa.
