How to replace the car battery on a Ford Everest Wildtrak
Ford continues to expand its latest range of models, the latest of these being the new Everest in Wildtrak trim. When these vehicles reach the used market, they may be in need of a replacement car battery, and we can show you how to replace it when that day comes.

Released in mid-2023, the Ford Everest in its new Wildtrak trim allows fans of the Everest to get the famed 7-seater SUV in a sporty and more aggressive trim. The Bright orange paintwork is a winner, but it's really what's inside that counts.

The interior gets the same Wildtrak treatment and that sees the addition of the bright orange stitching and Wildtrak logo on the back of the leather upholstery. The Wildtrak gets the same fare of a 12-inch portrait infotainment system with SYNC 4A installed, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as wireless charging and connectivity to the FordPass app via the integrated modem.

You will need:
- Replacement battery of correct size and amperage
- 10mm socket or wrench

Let's get it done
1. Open the bonnet
2. Locate the battery
3. Using the 10mm, remove the negative terminal
4. Using the 10mm again, disconnect the positive terminal
5. Using the 10mm, undo the bolts for the hold-down bracket
6. Carefully remove old battery
7. Exchange battery and assemble in reverse order
