Renault launched the 5th iteration of its popular Clio hatchback locally in 2022. While it unmistakably still looks like a Clio, the newcomer has a host of styling cues and features inside and out that sets it apart from the outgoing variant. Customers can choose between three derivatives: Turbo Life, Turbo Zen and the top of the range, Turbo Intens.

Connecting your Android phone
Whether you choose the Turbo Life, Turbo Zen or the Turbo Intens derivative, you will gain access to a touchscreen infotainment system that will allow you to connect your Apple or Android phone quickly and easily. Let's guide you through the process.
1. Like with most vehicles, the system won't allow you to pair devices while it is in motion. For this reason, while still stationary in a parking space, switch on the vehicle in order for the infotainment system to power up.
2. Now connect your Android to the vehicle via the USB port found in the storage binnacle in front of the gear selector. Note that the cable should have a USB-A connector at one end to be able to connect to the vehicle.
3. Once connected, an Android Auto logo will appear at the top of the infotainment screen.
4. Select Android Auto and follow the quick setup and disclaimer prompts.
5. Once you have agreed to the terms of use, your device will now be connected to the infotainment system. Note that both your phone and the vehicle will now recognize each other once you connect again. This means that in the future, once you connect your Android smartphone to the system, you won't have to follow any of the original prompts and will be able to access your favourite navigation and entertainment apps more quickly.
