Swedish automaker Volvo has moved very quickly towards its full electric future, with a very large portion of its models now being completely electric. Newly released models such as C40 Recharge, offer consumers a decent range, performance and features. As Volvo continues to electrify its model lineup, the vehicles continue to become more and more technically advanced. The latest Volvo in C40 Recharge guise has top-of-the-line tech, even when it comes to its tyres.

The C40 Recharge has an advanced tyre pressure monitoring system that will tell you that when one or more of the lyres drops below its recommended operating parameters and you will need to reinflate to the correct pressure, but what is the pressure needed?

How reliable is the Volvo C40 Recharge

 

Get it right

Due to the extra weight posed by the battery pack, the Volvo C40 must have the correct tyre pressures to keep the monitoring system in check and ensure that the vehicle can maintain its traction. Volvo recommends a tire pressure of 2.8 bar (41kPa) on all four tyres. This data can be found in the owner's manual or on the data plate on the inside of the driver's door jamb.
