The Volvo C40 Recharge is based on the XC40 range, however, with a completely different design. The Volvo C40 has a more stylish sloping roof like you would get with coupe vehicles, giving it a more sporty look. But that sporty theme is carried through to the powertrain as the C40 Recharge is motivated by two electric motors, which deliver a combined 300 kW and 660 Nm of torque.

While the styling and performance are very impressive, the standard technology included in the model is also admirable. Bluetooth

Step 1: On the bottom right corner of the C40's infotainment screen, there is a gear icon. Press it to go into the settings menu.

Step 2: In this menu, find the "Connectivity" tab and select it.

Step 3: From the submenu, select "Bluetooth", and then at the bottom of the screen, select "pair new device".

Step 4: Make sure your iPhone's Bluetooth is turned on and discoverable.

Step 5: Select your phone from the "Available Devices" list and follow the pairing prompts. Make sure to allow the vehicle to connect to all of your phone's services.

Your phone is now paired to the vehicle via Bluetooth, and you can now make and receive calls and play music from your phone through the infotainment system.

Apple CarPlay

Step 1: With your Lightning or USB-C cable compatible with data transferring, connect your phone to the USB port found in the phone binnacle in the centre console.

Step 2: Your iPhone will prompt you to ask if you want to launch Apple CarPlay; click yes to agree.

Step 3: Read and agree to the terms of use on the infotainment screen of your car.

Your phone is now paired to the vehicle via Apple CarPlay, and you can now make and receive calls, access your favourite navigations and music streaming apps and even use Apple Siri while driving.
