Mercedes-AMG C-Class top speed
The Mercedes-AMG C-Class comes in a variety of configurations. The entry point to the range is the Mercedes-AMG C43 4Matic coupe, and like its cabriolet sibling, it will reach an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. The Mercedes-AMG C43 sedan, however, is powered by a brand-new engine. This means that if you prefer to go faster than the standard 250 km/h top speed, you can specify for Mercedes-AMG to increase that to 265 km/h at a price though.
The two brutes of the range, the Mercedes-AMG C63 S coupe and Mercedes-AMG C63 S cabriolet come with the very popular turbocharged V8 engine, which will allow owners to travel up to 290 km/h.

Mercedes-AMG C-Class engine performance and 0-100 km/h time
Under the bonnet of the Mercedes-AMG C43 4Matic coupe and cabriolet, you can expect to find a 3.0-litre, turbocharged, V6 petrol engine producing 287 kW and 520 Nm of torque. The power is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission, which results in a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 4.7 seconds for the coupe and 4.8 seconds for the cabriolet.
The C43 sedan, which now comes with a 2.0-litre, turbocharged, 4-cylinder petrol engine, produces 310 kW and 500 Nm of torque. The power, once again, is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed AMG Speedshift MCT transmission and will propel the sedan from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.
As alluded to earlier, the Mercedes-AMG C63 S coupe and cabriolet models have a 4.0-litre, turbocharged, V8 petrol engine coupled with a 9-speed AMG Speedshift MCT transmission. The combination produces 375 kW and 700 Nm of torque, which allows the Mercedes-AMG C63 S coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and the cabriolet in 4.1 seconds.
