Verdict

If perhaps you are in a rush to get a new Mercedes-Benz GLC, the Mercedes-Benz GLC300d 4Matic AMG Line would be the best option if you are looking for a fast GLC. An added benefit of the diesel model is that the diesel motor will be frugal when you are not exploring the limits of the rev range around a track and just commuting.

Alternatively, when the new Mercedes-AMG GLC43 and GLC63 models arrive, they will be good options for a practical SUV and a car that can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under five seconds. If money doesn't play any role in your purchasing decision, the Mercedes-AMG GLC63 S E Performance is the one to have. It packs a lot of power and torque and is, as a result, the fastest GLC you can get.
